Color of Water
My fascination with bodies of water began with my first digital camera, where I discovered the beauty of observing both its surface and what lies beneath simultaneously. This duality in nature became the essence of my work, revealing hidden aspects of everything around us. In my piece titled "Color of Water," I utilize a diverse range of materials such as acrylics, oil, cold wax medium, pigment sticks, encaustic, and graphite markers. This mixed media approach allows me to create a layered and dynamic composition, exploring the textures and nuances of water. From its serene reflections to its turbulent depths, I aim to capture the movement and depth of water, showcasing its ever-changing hues.
